Nancy Murphy, Director of Talent Development and Acquisition, Cox Communications Nancy’s career includes more than 20 years of Human Resource, Training and Organizational Development experience. Nancy has worked in both small (200 employees) and large (Fortune 500) organizations. Her background includes leading the transformation of a training and development organization that supported 7,000 employees across North America. Her industry experience includes distribution, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare and telecommunications. Nancy is responsible for both the recruitment and leadership development strategy for Cox Arizona. She designs and facilitates a variety of learning interventions that positively impact both the organization and its employees. Nancy has led several large scale change efforts and works closely with senior management to align the business need with the needs of the employees to drive value throughout the organization. She is considered a thought leader in the area of servant and transformational leadership and is a dynamic and engaging speaker.
Janet Oxford, MBA, SPHR, Vice President, Human Resources, NextCare Urgent Care
Janet is a seasoned Human Resources executive and business partner with 25+ years progressive HR management experience. As VP of Human Resources at NextCare Urgent care for the past 3 years, Janet has accountability for all functional areas of HR including but not limited to staff and provider recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, HR risk management, HR compliance, leadership development and talent management. Janet has a strong background in HR operations for multi-site businesses in healthcare, HMO’s, banking, high tech, consulting services and manufacturing. Sites were domestic and international. The majority of her career was spent in the healthcare arena including profit, not-for-profit and public settings. These include Banner Health, Maricopa Integrated Health System, CIGNA, NovaCare, Hillcrest Medical Center, Denton Regional Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital. She has led teams on strategic initiatives including performance management, change management, reengineering, due diligence, acquisition integrations, values inculcation, talent acquisition and retention. Prior to NextCare, Janet served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Banner Health. The first 2 years were at Banner Desert Medical Center, a 549-bed tertiary care facility, extended care facility inpatient psychiatric center and occupational health center. She led a team of 16 in HR, including 8 professionals serving a staff of 3600 including 300 managers/supervisors. Under her direction, Janet’s team helped Banner Desert to win the coveted “Best-of-the-Best” award on 2005, by exceeding the hard-to-fill hiring target. Through coaching and mentoring, she significantly improved the knowledge, skills and abilities of her team to become strategic business partners. In January, 2007, she was selected by Banner to assist in the closing of Banner Mesa Medical Center and initiate HR activation strategies to open the next generation hospital called Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ. Janet earned a BS degree in Business & Economics with a concentration in Human Resources; she also holds an MBA degree in Marketing Management. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and earned a Masters Certificate in Organization Effectiveness.
Sharon M. Rayman, MS, RN, Adjunct Faculty & Student Services, Learning Institute, St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center
Sharon M. Rayman, MS, RN, is currently Adjunct Faculty and Student Services support at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center’s Learning Institute in Phoenix. Sharon has 25 years experience in various management and leadership roles in healthcare, 16 years experience as didactic and clinical faculty in adult health nursing and career development, and 10 years experience in the field of organ donation and transplantation. Sharon is also active in several professional associations. She is Director for Appointments and Nominations at Arizona Nurses Association, Treasurer of Greater Phoenix Area Chapter One of Arizona Nurses Association, Commissioner at Arizona Skill Standards Commission, Board of Director at Desert Southwest Division of the American Liver Foundation, Past president of Nu Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, and Past Ethics co-chair with the North American Transplant Coordinators Organization.
Sharon earned the Nurse Recognition award by the International Association of Nurses, the Faculty recognition award by Grand Canyon University, and the Ancillary Nurse of the Year by Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. She was also inducted into the National Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau International. Sharon is a contributing chapter author for two Nursing Textbooks published by Thompson/Delmar Learning and content reviewer for American Journal of Nursing. Sharon holds a Master of Science, Adult Health Nursing from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University. She is also a Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator and a Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator
Nicole Spracale, Senior Vice President of Arizona, Jobing.com
With nearly 20 years of operations management and human resources experience with both start-up and Fortune 5000 companies, Nicole Spracale has extensive experience attracting, developing and retaining top talent at Jobing. As one of their first clients when the Jobing.com site launched back in 1999, she has always looked for new and innovative ways to use employment media to support talent acquisition initiatives. In her current role as Senior Vice President, Arizona Nicole is focused on developing the entire Arizona market and providing employers across the state with employment marketing strategies, resources, and technology. Driven by continuous learning and a passion creating an environment that is motivated by client experience and excellence, Nicole is a sought after speaker on topics ranging from recruitment and selection, performance management, and employment branding & culture. Nicole has her SPHR certification, a Masters in Human Resources, and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Debbie Ritter-Williams, Ph.D., is Senior Research Associate at the University of Phoenix Research Institute. She has held a variety of leadership positions in corporate training and development and in higher education.
Dr. Ritter-Williams has been associated with University of Phoenix since 2002, when she was the Program Chair for the College of Arts and Sciences for the online campus. Most recently, she completed an appointment as Lead Faculty for the School of Advanced Studies that involved facilitating both online and residency classes, chairing dissertation committees and leading various projects to enhance quality in the classroom.
Her career has focused on adult education across a variety of venues: for-profit corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies. The success of her work has often been aided by her strength in group process facilitation. Before coming to University of Phoenix, Dr. Ritter-Williams led a company-wide implementation of a synchronous online training system for locations across North America.
Dr. Ritter-Williams’ work in higher education and leadership has been published in journals, textbooks and handbooks. She has held memberships and leadership roles with the American Association of University Women, the American College Personnel Association (Vice-Chair for Research), Carolinas Society for Training and Development (Board Member) and the American Society for Training & Development. She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University, a master’s degree in Counseling from Arizona State University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policies (focus on higher education) from the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Kevin Gazzara has spent the last 25 years of management, leadership, organizational development, courseware development and teaching experience in industries spanning from heavy equipment to high tech. He is a currently a senior partner at Magna Leadership Solutions LLC www.magnaleadership.com located in Phoenix, Arizona. He worked for 18 years at Intel Corporation, where he previously managed the worldwide programs for leadership development. Magna Leadership Solutions has designed and delivered learning solutions and facilitation for a variety of Fortune 500 companies.Dr. Kevin Gazzara and Dr. Ali Lakhani, released their acclaimed book in May 2008, “The Leader of Oz: Revealing 101 Secrets of Marvelous Leadership for the 21st Century,” www.Theleaderofoz.com. Kevin is a master faculty member and has served as the Senior University Research Chair for Organizational Behavior for the University of Phoenix. He has regularly taught and developed classroom and on-line university courses in Management, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Marketing and Business Strategy for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, since 1996. He holds a BS in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University, an MBA from Philadelphia University, and a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
